Same as the Basic, but with radio output pins so you can key your transmitter directly. Also has capacitive touch pads built in.
The Vail Advanced includes everything the Basic has โ USB-C, keyer modes, buzzer, audio output, 3D-printed case โ and adds radio output pins and built-in capacitive touch keying.
The radio output lets you key your transmitter directly through a cable (sold separately). The capacitive touch pads on the PCB work as a built-in paddle โ DIT on the left, DAH on the right (with the speaker facing up and USB away from you).
The Vail Basic has the same core features at a lower price โ just without the radio keying and touch pads.
The Vail Advanced starts at $29.99, with lower per-unit pricing on multi-unit orders. Purchasing is handled through the project's official store.
